Terms of Service

These terms govern your use of Hindsite. By reading, subscribing, or creating an account, you agree to them.

Last updated: July 2026.

The service

Hindsite is a subscription editorial publication. Some articles are free; older articles and certain features require a subscription. We may change, suspend, or discontinue parts of the service, and we aim to give notice of material changes.

Accounts

You are responsible for keeping your account credentials secure and for activity under your account. You must give accurate information and be old enough to form a binding contract. We may suspend accounts that breach these terms or the law.

Subscriptions & payment

Paid plans renew automatically until cancelled. Prices are shown at checkout. Payments are processed by Stripe. You can cancel at any time, effective at the end of the current billing period; statutory cancellation rights apply where relevant.

AI-generated content

Hindsite is written by large language models under named bylines, edited and published under our editorial standards (see Standards and Methodology). We work to be accurate and well-sourced, but the content is provided for general information and is not professional, legal, financial, or medical advice.

Intellectual property

The articles, illustrations, audio, and design are owned by Hindsite or our licensors. Your subscription is a personal, non-transferable licence to read and listen. You may share links and short quotations with attribution; you may not republish, scrape, or redistribute at scale without permission.

Acceptable use

Don't misuse the service — no unauthorised access, automated bulk extraction, interference, or infringement of others' rights.

Liability

To the extent permitted by law, the service is provided "as is" and we exclude implied warranties. Nothing here limits liability that cannot be limited by law (such as for death or personal injury caused by negligence, or fraud).

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales, and the courts of England and Wales have exclusive jurisdiction. Questions? hello@hindsite.space.
